Thanks for coming and we'll see you in July!
Big Indian Springs is located in Big
Indian, NY, just off Route 28 ten miles west of Phoenicia
in the Catskill Mountains. The full address is:
Big Indian Springs
74 Cruickshank Road
Big Indian, NY 12410
If you are flying in from out of town, we would recommend flying into Newark, NJ airport. Car rentals are cheaper there and you won't have to deal with New York City traffic. The drive to the Catskills from there takes about 2.5 hours and is fairly simple and direct. However, for the full Big Apple experience, there's nothing like flying over Queens into JFK and then taking a $50 cab ride into Manhattan, where you can rent a car for twice the regular price...
If you do not want to drive to the Catskills, you can take a Pine Hill Trailways bus to Phoenicia from Port Authority in Manhattan.
Take the New York State Thruway (Interstate 87) to Exit
19, Kingston.
After the toll booth, follow the signs marked Route 28
(West) to Pine Hill.
Stay on Route 28 for 30 miles. There will be several signs
on the left side of the road referring to Big Indian.
Turn left onto County Road 47, also known as Oliverea
Road, and continue 1/2 mile.
Take the 1st right onto Lost Clove Road, then the 1st
left onto Cruickshank Rd.
The driveway for Big Indian Springs is about 1/4 mile
down Cruickshank Road, the 2nd driveway on the right.
If you see the pond on the left, you have gone too far.
